Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we process through houmeres.sk, why, and what rights you have under the GDPR.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address and message, submitted voluntarily.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type (User-Agent) and submission time — used solely to protect the form against abuse and spam.
• Visit statistics: which pages are viewed, how long a page stays open, which outside links are followed, the language of the page, and the address of the site you came from (only the site, never the exact page). Your browser keeps a random identifier for the current tab in sessionStorage; it is deleted when the tab closes and is never linked to you. No cookies, and no IP address is stored with these statistics.

Purpose and legal basis

• Handling your enquiry and communicating with you — Art. 6(1)(b) (pre-contractual steps) or (f) (legitimate interest in replying).
• Protecting the form against abuse — Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in service security).
• Visit statistics — Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in knowing which parts of the site are used). They are anonymous and processed only by us.

Retention

Form data is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and at most 24 months, unless a specific law requires otherwise. Visit statistics are deleted automatically after 13 months.

Recipients and hosting

The website and its data are hosted on our own server with Hetzner Online GmbH (EU data centres). The visit statistics above are our own; we use no third-party analytics or tracking, and fonts and images are self-hosted — the site loads nothing from external servers.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies. The only thing it keeps in your browser is the per-tab identifier described above, in sessionStorage.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise them, email the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection.
