My name is Jaroslav Beneš, and Houmeres is my label for everything I enjoy about technology.
I'm not an agency — I'm one person who prefers a personal, human approach. I care that the result is fitted to the user, not the user to the result.
I don't charge for getting in touch or for a consultation, and if a project turns out too big for my two hands, I can point you to solutions I've already tried and tested that will suit you.
IT, networking and web all complement each other here — I'll look at your problem and find solutions that fit.
It starts with a consultation: I look at the situation, say what makes sense and propose a solution for that exact case — from one-off help to ongoing care of computers and software.
I design and wire networks on both the hardware and the software side — from cabling and Wi-Fi to routing and firewalls. I also look after servers, whether they run a website, an application or backups.
A website built to fit — from a simple, affordable page that still has everything it needs (SEO included) up to more complex solutions and integrations with other systems.
Selected websites I designed and shipped for clients.
Website for a children's activity centre — a clear presentation of clubs, activities and events for kids and parents.
Website for the café on the ground floor of Katov dom in Trenčín — menu, events, the space and how to find it, in Slovak and English.
A general-purpose 3D game engine written in Rust — built to make any 3D game, scaling from stylized low-poly to realistic graphics, and shipping only what each game uses.
Addon for KDE Plasma desktop environment adding option to add Synology NAS connections and logins and mount/dismount shared folders through GUI.
